
Adolescents and older dogs
This is for all adult dogs and/or dogs that wish to build and develop on the skills they have or work on some areas they struggle with to develop their best behaviour.
If you have not trained your dog/s before don't worry! we ensure nobody is left behind or misses out, new customers and their furry friends are always welcome!
Its never too late to train!
The areas we cover in these groups include.
- Recall in any circumstance eg: coming away from that squirell!
- Listening at a distance
- Loose lead walking
- Walking next to you without a lead
- Wait / Stay until Released
- Developing positive doggy social interactions with people and other dogs.
- Unwanted behaviour like Lunging, Barking, Jumping up, Biting
- Stop barking at the postman!
- Calmness
- Confidence building and improving and developing good doggy lifeskills.
- And many many more.
f you can't attend one week, please give us as much notice as possible
and we just move your session to the next convenient date.
You dont lose your session and you don't pay for what you haven't taken!

continuing training as they enjoy it so much! Some have been coming for years!
Our groups are normally 6 dogs, with up to 5 fully qualified trainers, our assistants are fully insured, and first aid trained.
We ensure that everyone is given the time and support they need.
Wagtail training groups are held in our purpose-built dog training facility, in our fully enclosed fenced field, with a large undercover area, to give shade or shelter from the weather. We have real grass alongside a big Astro turfed area, for those times it gets muddy we can avoid that mud.
There is seating for family members who are actively encouraged wish to come along as well so you all know what to do to get that dog you always dreamt of!
Some areas that are more private for those dogs that find it a little hard to start with.
The reason we love our training facility, Ipswich Dog Training Academy, is because it duplicates everything you will find in the real world yet it is a safe welcoming place even for nervous dogs.
We are sure you will love it too!
The Groups are held on Saturdays and Sundays. At different times depending on your puppy breed and seasonal restrictions (i.e., early in the day during the summer)
Prices: You have 2 options
4 Sessions of an hour each is £100
8 sessions of and hour each is £190
